Canada’s Wonderland, located just north of Toronto, Ontario, is the largest amusement park in the country. With 16 of the world’s top roller coasters and more than 200 attractions, including thrill rides, a water park, live shows, and several children’s areas, Canada’s Wonderland is a popular destination for visiting and local families. Canada’s Wonderland is divided into several themed sections, which include International Festival, where guests can play carnival games and ride bumper cars; Action Zone and Medieval Faire, which house most of the park’s major roller coasters; Splash Works, a 20-acre water park; and two children’s zones. In number of roller coasters, Canada’s Wonderland ranks third of all theme parks in the world. Ranked by thrill level from one to five, the park’s top rides include Leviathan, the country’s tallest and fastest roller coaster; Mighty Canadian Mine buster, one of the park’s first wooden rides; and Time Warp, a suspended roller coaster where guests fly through the air while laying on their stomachs.

DAY 3

At Black Creek Pioneer Village, visitors discover 40 historic buildings, 70 rare and heritage breed animals, 10 gardens growing flowers and plants from heirloom seeds, and exciting programs that engage people of all ages. They meet costumed educators who demonstrate and involve visitors with trades and crafts common in 1860s’ Ontario, tap their toes to music of the era, laugh at the hysterical antics of the History Actors, and have fun engaging in hands-on activities throughout the village.

DAY 4

The Royal Ontario Museum is Canada’s largest museum dedicated to both the natural world and the history of humanity. It was Established in 1914, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Housed inside a heritage-meets-modern building, it boasts a 6-million-strong collection, which focuses on objects relating to world culture and natural history. It includes everything from First Nations’ crest poles to Egyptian mummies to T-rex skeletons.

DAY 5

Harbourfront centre complex comprises more than 30 sights, including parks, outdoor and indoor performance venues, squares, art galleries, a boardwalk, artist studios, restaurants, and retail outlets. Occupying a prime 10-acre (4-hectare) site on the edge of Lake Ontario, the nonprofit Harbourfront Centre offers a jam- packed year-round program of events.

DAY 6

The CN Tower is Toronto’s broadcast and telecommunications tower. The needle-like telecommunications tower—often seen from the airplane window—is their first glimpse of the city. When completed in 1976, the CN Tower was the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere. It is still the tallest tower in Canada, and the spectacular views from its observation decks are second to none.

DAY 7

The Toronto Zoo is the country’s largest zoo. It houses one of the most taxonomically diversified groups of animals of any zoo.

DAY 8

Kensington Market is a walkable bohemian that draws artists, etc to its indie shops, vintage boutiques and arts spaces. The Market is also home to a wide array of specialty grocers, bakeries and cheese shops, international restaurants that range from casual to fine dining.

DAY 9

Nathan Philip Square is a New City Hall, which replaced Old City Hall in 1965 to accommodate a rapidly growing city, is the current seat of Toronto’s municipal government. Designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell, winner of the city’s international competition, Toronto City Hall is comprised of two curved towers as well as Nathan Phillips Square, Canada’s largest public square.
